Welcome to Street Eggs, wanderers. I created this blog because I liked the name ‘Street Eggs’.
Not knowing what to do with it, I initially wrote about technology, but I couldn’t seem to make eggs and technology simply mash or scramble together.
So here we are. A food blog.
For your information,
- I am not a chef.
- I am NOT a ‘foodie’*.
- I am also not a health expert.
- My kitchen knowledge is VERY limited.
So, ‘Why make a food blog?’, you ask? Well, I’ve come to realize that I do like cooking – to a certain extent. You know how wives usually say something like ‘I promise to learn how to cook…’ yada yada, during their wedding day as part of their vows? In my case, I did not vow to do anything, but I did come to a realization that cooking eggs and dried fish on a daily basis gets boring after a while.
So, I am learning.
I’ve pestered my friends and family for recipes and tips throughout the years, and I can safely say that I think I have managed to pull through. But I keep forgetting stuff.
So this is a blog about the food I try, the recipes I try, the food I’ve seen, the food I think about, the food I want to try making, and basically stuff about food. Oh yeah, this also includes places where I have eaten. I previously had those posts done at my OTHER BLOG, but I think it would be appropriate here.
It seems crazy to have a blog all because I fell in love with a name. What is in a name? Everything and nothing.
